One of the benefits that our clients acquire from working with our interior design firm is our ability to provide them with furniture pieces that are truly unique and customized to fit their comfort level and needs. Being able to design custom pieces is one of my very favorite parts of the interior design process.
Every person is different when it comes to his or her level of comfort with interior decorating. Clients sometimes come to us frustrated from having gone store to store, to find a sofa or chair they may love style-wise, but when it comes to the comfort of the piece they sometimes find that it does not have the desired depth, height, shape, or cushioning of which they will be happy with in the long run.
As interior designers we are able give our client’s a service that allows them to be a part of the furniture customization process. We start with conceptual drawings and photos to get the style and design the client most desires. We are then able to guide the client through the selection of materials and fabrics; this process gives the client a furniture piece that is truly unique to them. “Sit tests” are also available to the client, during which they will have the opportunity to make sure the cushioning, heights, lengths, and overall comfort is what they had envisioned.
